Faith Formation / Formacion en la Fe
Our program is a Faith Formation program. This means that your child can come to catechesis once they start First grade and continue through the 12th grade. Faith is a journey that starts at Baptism and ends when we meet Christ in heaven. This is why we encourage parents to brings their children to catechesis even if they already received First Communion. The children receive First Communion in our parish once they reach the 2nd grade. The Children receive Confirmation in our parish once they reach 8th grade.
Nuestro programa de Formacion en la Fe, es catequesis para toda la vida. Esto significa que no es un programa solo para preparar a los niños(as) a recibir un Sacramento, sino que este es un programa que prepara a los niños(as) a recibir los Sacramentos que necesitan y a la vez los va formando en la Fe, por eso le pedimos a los padres que traigan sus niños(as) cuando necesitan recibir un sacramento, y sigan trayéndolos todo el tiempo para que se vayan formándose en la Fe.
Los niños(as) reciben su primera Comunión en nuestra parroquia cuando estan en 2do grado en la escuela.
Los niños(as) reciben Confirmación en nuestra parroquia cuando estan en 8va grado en la escuela.
Adults 17 and older who have been Baptized, but are missing one or both Sacraments, start Catechesis under the (RCIA) Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults, which runs from September thru May. We have the program in both English and Spanish.

If you or your child are 7 years or older and have not been baptized, needs to enter into the RCIA program.
Faith Formation classes will return to their regular schedule on:
January 9th for the Confirmation
January 10th for the RCIA group.
January 11th for grade 1st thru 7th.
Monday: 8th thru 12th grade.
Tuesday: RCIA
Wednesday: 1st thru 7th grade.
1st thru 4th grade meets at the Church
and
5th -7th grade meets at the office
7pm to 8:30pm
Tuition for the program is as fallow: $60.00 for the first child.
$20.00 for each additional child.
Tuition can be paid in full or $20.00 at registration and
the rest is due by December 2011.
